Overview

BotBox complies with Meta Platform Data Deletion requirements, GDPR regulations, and user privacy rights. If you have connected your Facebook Page, Instagram account, Telegram bot, Viber bot, or interacted with a channel managed via BotBox and wish to permanently delete your data, you can do so easily using either of the methods outlined below.

Step-by-Step Deletion Methods

Method 1: Instant Revocation via Facebook Settings (Recommended)

You can instantly revoke BotBox's access to your Facebook Page and trigger automated platform data deletion directly from Facebook:

Log into your Facebook account and navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
In the left sidebar, click on Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites).
Locate BotBox in your list of authorized apps.
Click Remove and confirm.

* Upon receiving Meta's deauthorization notification, BotBox immediately stops all message synchronization.

Method 2: Direct Email Data Deletion Request

To request a complete purge of your account, conversation history, customer lists, or PSID data from our active servers, send an email to:

Subject: Data Deletion Request - [Your Business / Page Name]

Required Details: Your registered email address, Facebook Page ID or URL, and specific scope of deletion requested.

Identity Verification Notice: To protect user accounts from fraudulent deletion requests, our team may verify the requester's identity (such as confirming ownership via the registered administrative email or Page admin role) before executing permanent deletion.

What Data Is Permanently Purged

Authentication Credentials: All Page Access Tokens, channel tokens, and API secrets are immediately wiped.
Message Records: All customer conversation messages, text content, and attachment URLs.
Contact Profiles: Customer Page-Scoped IDs (PSIDs), contact names, phone numbers, and profile photos.
Account Information: Business configuration, team members, automated flows, and payment history.

Retention & Deletion Timeline

Active Production Databases: All requested records are permanently erased from active production databases within 30 calendar days of receiving a verified request.

Encrypted Backup Archives: Encrypted backup archives are securely rotated and permanently purged within 60 calendar days thereafter in accordance with enterprise data protection standards.

Confirmation: Once your data has been completely purged, our compliance team sends a formal written confirmation notice to the requester's email address.
